YUME cafe 330m2

2025

Area: 330 m²
Designers: Nailya Sorokina, Regina Kakhya, Anna Fedorenko
Location: Kazan (Korston)
“Yume” translates from Japanese as “dream.”
A dream city assembled within a single space, inspired by Asia and K-pop.
The space is conceived as an image of a “dream city,” where elements of Asian culture are translated into a contemporary interior.
At its core are graphic expression and lightness: the rhythm of partitions, references to traditional windows, and neon as a symbol of the urban environment. The color palette is built around a turquoise tone favored by the client, with accent blue enhancing the depth of the space.
K-pop aesthetics add dynamism, while the space functions as a flexible scenario.
The 330 m² space is organized as a flexible system of zones:
— main café hall (118 seats)
— bar area
— transformable event hall
— separate children’s room
The key principle is the ability to scale the space for different scenarios.
Partitions allow the halls to be combined and seating capacity to be increased.
The entrance area defines the character of the space: the neon sign “YUME CITY” becomes a focal point, while the bar interprets the silhouettes of traditional Asian roofs.
The space is shaped through the graphic language of Asian windows—blue lines create rhythm and depth, complemented by a photo zone with mirrors, a screen, and roof silhouettes.
The children’s area is designed in the overall style of the project: the forms of Asian houses are transformed into a safe and cozy environment for kids.
The YUME CITY project has become an example of transforming an existing space into a cohesive conceptual environment, where architecture, graphics, and usage scenarios merge into a unified image of a contemporary urban space.
