KONO- is a federal chain of next-generation Asian ramen bars where guests select their own ingredients, pay for their order, and cook their ramen themselves using dedicated ramen stations in a specially designed area.

The concept has been implemented in Moscow, Saint Petersburg, Krasnodar, Smolensk, Saratov, Rostov-on-Don, and other cities across Russia.

TASK- To create the atmosphere of a small, warm Asian kitchen — as if you’ve stepped into the home of a caring grandmother preparing homemade ramen for you. At the same time, the interior had to remain modern, functional, and adaptable to a scalable network format across different Russian cities.

It was also essential to carefully design three key zones:

Retail Area & Self-Service Checkouts. A convenient space for selecting ramen, toppings, drinks, and snacks, with a fast and intuitive payment process.

Cooking Area. A dedicated zone where guests prepare their own ramen. The layout had to ensure safety, efficiency, and ease of use.

Seating Area. Comfortable tables and a welcoming environment where guests feel relaxed and want to stay longer.
