BaLoo Restaurant in Cyprus
The design goal is to visualize “home comfort” in a modern way. We used a soft neutral palette – warm beige, sand and wood shades reflecting the Cypriot landscapes and the atmosphere of family holidays. The dominant shapes are smooth, organic lines symbolizing “family warmth” and a relaxed mood.
Architectural and interior solutions
• Structure and materials: simple, laconic forms of furniture – round and oval tables, rounded chairs with natural wooden legs. This creates visual harmony and invites conversation.
• Textures and finishes: The upholstery on the chairs evokes a sense of home. The center tables stand out with their smooth surfaces, creating contrast and visual focus.
• Windows and facades: The panoramic glass windows allow natural light to flow in, enhancing the sense of openness and connection to nature.
• Lighting: The accent rattan pendant lights add zoning and visual depth, creating a soft light that plays with shadows and textures.
